My main interest is documentary and adventure filmmaking, although I have done several short narrative films and have other film credits. When shooting in the field I generally use Panasonic HC-VX870 4K camcorder, a Nikon Coolpix P600 camera, and several GoPro Hero 4 black cameras.
My major credit so far is the documentary Black Guides of Mammoth Cave broadcast on the KET PBS Network on February 26, 2017.  It tells the story of multiple generations of black guides and their families who served as guides at the cave from the days of slavery until the present time, culminating with current fifth generation guide Jerry Bransford. Among my short films Star Door won the winter 2014 film competition sponsored by The Research Page.
By training I am with geologist and have published research on caves and related features in the United States, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. I also am involved in forest research and serve on the board with the Native Tree Society.
